About the event
The Biosis Foundation will be partnering with the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal, IL, to introduce the concepts of programming to young children. For more specificity, at this event, we will be overseeing various different activities that aim to introduce audiences to the aspect of block-based coding at a very young age to potentially instill passions pertaining to Computer Science. These activities that we will be running will moreover be in both a physical, and virtual form, allowing many candidates to fully experience the process of programming on both a cognitive and physical basis. Some activities that we are planning to initiate include:
Puzzle-Oriented Activities
Allowing many to learn the physical structure of block-based coding.
Virtual Block-Based Programming
Allowing many to actually interpret and program functions using block-based coding.
Visual Depictions
